Looking ahead is looking into things yet hoped for and not achieved. It takes emotions, thoughts, and a hopeful heart.
Attitude is critical when looking ahead. The mind is a magnet of possibilities and reality. Thoughts may be true or untrue. The thing here is that our thoughts become a reality or possibilities.
Sometimes, the past is a blocker of envisioned goodness. The past carries a lot of occurrences that nobody wants to keep in mind. The past may also contain versions of ourselves that we are thrilled to have left behind or maybe the opposite. However the case, the past is the past.
Also, the past is gone. Dwelling on it may evoke resentment and frustration in the soul. Feeding the soul with such is unhealthy. Regret. Pain. Fear. I could go on and on about the effects.
The past carries many different versions, experiences, feelings, and constant growth. The future also has the same. The difference is the impact.
Acknowledge that everybody has a story to tell. People evolve with time. Experiences make people unique. You will always have something to share with the world. How you view the past and the present is a critical aspect of your life story.
Looking into the future may be scary, as it would evoke anxiety. Furthermore, there is uncertainty because there may be a lack of assurance of our expectations and a lack of awareness concerning it.
Somehow, the quality of your future results in the quality of your thoughts.
You can expect what you want because of what you uniquely imagine. Again, it's also about what you affirm. Affirmations are a work in progress for reality.
Look ahead with your aspirations.
Look ahead with your hopes and not your doubts.
Look ahead without unworthy memories in mind, but you can keep the necessary ones.
All the best as you enjoy whatever lies ahead:)
